The writing style is so reminiscent of the setting it's attempting to capture that it actually does make me second-hand embarrassed, which is a tremendously admirable feat. There is a pretty significant problem though, and that's that some phrases can't be finished and thus entered as responses. This railroads a lot of the interesting choices I otherwise would've wanted to make.

Regrettably, the game just flat-out refuses to run. It loads, there's a brief black screen followed by another brown one, and then a black screen remains until I have to actually reboot my computer, as closing out the application on its own proves impossible.

For whatever reason I can't seem to finish the forest temple. After beating Mika, it just gives me some dialogue as if I was in the church in town, and when I press leave it instantly brings me back there.
